Recently in Malaysian football fan pages, there is a story about the Queens Park Ranger pre-season Asia Tour in Thailand and Malaysia. Since Dato' Tony Fernandes take over that club, the club has gained support from this part of the world. And as an appreciation to the supporters, QPR will have a pre-season match which one of 'em is against Sabah FA. Sabah is as told by Tony Fernandes, is the home of Air Asia. The company that he owned.
I just don't understand some of the Malaysian fans that questioning the result to play against Sabah. For me, nothing wrong with it. In fact, it is better than a friendly with the national squad. And to be fair, let Sabahan have a taste of higher level football match on their ground. Why is it always in Kuala Lumpur? If you're from Borneo, you have to take a flight to make it the stadium. And it is definitely burden the fans from Borneo. If you want to watch the game in the stadium, why don't you feel the same burden they've had before.
Nonetheless, the date and venue for the match according to the facebook fanpage, is 18 July 2012 at Stadium Likas.
